A perfect summer is sitting on the water front sipping on a cold brew and
surfing on my iPhone checking the latest news on the CBC iPhone site. The
CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) is Canada's information source for:
- News
- Sports
- Drama
- Documentaries
I was delighted to see this iPhone site. The CBC site has all the features of the normal website. I always check CBC's news website when CNN has breaking news to verify that IT IS REALLY TRUE and get the Canadian perspective.
The iPhone site features new, up-to-date sports scores and TV listings and Radio listings. I have been checking the CBC TV listing for the next showing of "The Nature of Things" which is a wonderful show about nature and especially focuses on how humanity affects nature around us.
Don't forget about the business news which can give you the Canadian stock quotes as well as the state of the Canadian economy. No mortgage melt down in Canada (yet!), but be sure to watch the next episode of "The Nature of Things" to
get the low down on the melting of the Arctic.
CBC has been providing Canada with its news for over 50 years and now I can get my news on my iPhone anywhere in Canada or the world.
